Congratulations to the Curiosity team at NASA's JPL for successfully deploying their car-sized rover onto the Martian surface.
 
The "Seven Minutes of Terror" are over.

I had a presentiment that the system wouldn't work, that it would veer or wobble and crash. I was never so glad to be wrong!

Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.
