Fan Film Friday:Robb Pratt's Superman

Republibot 2.0's picture

Animator Robb Pratt has released a pair of incredible Disney styled animations of the Man of Steel. These are incredible pieces of work- click through to take a look.

I'm really not going to comment on these. They speak for themselves.

and

I don't know if this qualifies as fan film or Pro demo reel.

Looks like some folks had some common inspiration.

Well done!

Nice bit of talent, that

Those are interesting. I thought running the Superman theme backwards for the Bizarro robot was a neat touch. Loved the "poink" as the Superman curl pops loose over Clark Kent's brow. ;) Pratt puts in a lot of really nice little sight gags and touches. Hollywood could do well to pay attention to him.

I cross-posted these to my art and animation forum.

Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Want more

It would be interesting to see a full length Superman cartoon from Pratt. I thought it would be in the style of Max Fleischer from its title but I was surprised by the original take on the character designs.
