With the use of threats and intimidation today by the Occupy movement have they become the Brown Shirts of the Left?

It seems to me that the left is trying to use street thugs to win by intimidation what they can not win at the polls. The destruction of our free market system and a redistribution of wealth not seen since the October Revolution in Russia.

Eh

Every few years, some new gang of atavists comes along, makes a lot of noise, commits a few violent acts, then realizes that investment banking is a lot more profitable, and then they fade away. The anarchists, the unionists, the hippies--all have had their day in the limelight, all have realized the value of a dollar, and all have retreated to comfortable bourgeois obscurity. This generation will be no different.

...hopefully.

Shirts versus Coats

I read "Browncoats" instead of shirts at first. Was wondering what news had come up to talk about for Firefly and/or Serenity. Now I'm disappointed. :)

The "vote" thingy is over, though. Found to be officially not appropriate for the 6-11 age group.
