Episode Review: V – Hearts And Minds (Season 1, Episode 10)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Thu, 05/06/2010 - 18:03I think we are quick coming up on the end of the season and based on what I am picking up on the other Geek sites longevity isn’t looking very likely for this show which kinda conflicts me. On the one hand the show sucks and I hate reviewing it. On the second hand, the premise is golden and if only they had worked up a real vision for what they wanted to accomplish… Meh. No crying over spilt milk as the saying goes. Comcast says, “A deadly V tracker team is dispatched to find Erica, Ryan, Father Jack and Hobbes; Anna issues an invitation to Tyler for the Live Aboard Program; Chad asks Father Jack about the Fifth Column.”
Follow along as I outline what went down in this week’s exciting episode, right after the jump.

Episode Review: V – Heretic's Fork (Season 1, Episode 9)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Tue, 05/04/2010 - 00:48Hey, how about this? I am only a week late with this recap. And I actually feel kinda bad for being slow on this one, because it seems like the producer’s are finally starting to get a sense of balance to what they have going on. Anyway, let’s deal with that in a bit, first let’s share what the all seeing Comcast has to say for this week’s episode: “Chad deals with his aneurysm on the mother ship; Ryan confesses to Val that he is a visitor; Erica, Father Jack and Hobbes try to protect the Fifth Column.”
And now more, after the jump…

Episode Review: V – We Can't Win (Season 1, Episode 8)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Mon, 05/03/2010 - 00:44Ok, this is really late and I apologize – I will have last week’s up tomorrow and then back on Tuesday with the new episode… possibly. Hopefully. All I can say is that, work has been crazy and it is still snowing here in Utah. And I just had a KFC Mashed Potato Bowl and a root beer float. Not that you need to hear about my deteriorating eating habits and lack of physical fitness. Anyway, Comcast says: “We Can’t Win – Chad and Anna visit Geneva, Switzerland, with Anna toting a technological gift to present at the UN Energy Summit; Erica discovers that the V Task Force is looking into the Fifth Column; trust issues and baby worries prompt Valerie to go on the run.”
Let’s deal with this after the jump and I promise not to dwell on lack of a life.

Episode Review: FlashForward:"Let No Man Put Asunder"(Season 1, Episode 16)
Submitted by Republibot 2.0 on Thu, 04/15/2010 - 21:13Ah, Spring! When young men's fancy turns to thoughts of… well, in my house, it's climbing trees, playing football and collecting immense amounts of dirt to track through the house. Boy-bots will be boy-bots...
But it does allow me to actually watch FlashForward on the big TV this week.
The logline says:"Demetri decides to rush his wedding plans with Zoey after the captured FBI mole confirms his death date;Wedek helps Aaron infiltrate Jericho in order to rescue Tracy; Olivia's friendship with Lloyd grows stronger.

Episode Review: V – John May (Season 1, Episode 7)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Wed, 04/14/2010 - 16:28I’m late. I know. Hopefully, the expectation wasn’t interminable for all of you as you waited for this exciting recap.
This week on a very special episode of “V”: Erica, Ryan and Jack seek out the legendary John May to rescue Georgie; Tyler probes his mysterious past during a confrontation with his mother; Chad visits the mother ship to report on Anna’s Live Aboard program.
Excellent. Let’s get to the nitty gritty, right after the jump.

Episode Review: V – Pound of Flesh (Season 1, Episode 6)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Wed, 04/07/2010 - 01:39Welcome back my fellow V-ites. According to our ever handy Comcast program synopsis, on tonight’s very special episode of “V”: Anna launches a pilot program to allow select groups of humans to live on the spaceships; Tyler uncovers a secret about his mom; Valerie’s accelerated pregnancy becomes an issue for Ryan; a sacrifice is made to save Ryan.
Before we get started I just wanted to be honest and state for the record that I question how good of a reviewer I am for this show, because I honestly don’t like it. It is painful to sit through. It has a terrible pacing problem. The story feels like it was written by a secluded writer suffering from Michael Bay syndrome. It just jumps around wantonly every 5 seconds. Lost has a ton of storylines that it is juggling but I always feel like they take the appropriate amount of time that each character requires. V on the other hand feels like the whole story is being told in short hand.
Anyway, enough of my whining – let’s get down the reason you are most likely here, right after the jump.

Episode Review: Lost: "Happily Ever After" (Season 6 Episode 11)
Submitted by Republibot 2.0 on Tue, 04/06/2010 - 22:28Since it seems to help the synoptically disadvantaged, tonight's logline reads: Desmond awakens and discovers that he's on the island.
Oh that is Sooo descriptive. It's like "Charlie wakes up to discover he's dead".
Well, what does Desmond discover after his cup o' joe?
Jump to find out. Do I need to say that our recaps contain spoilers? Even after all that time we spent together, watching reruns of the Glen Campbell show, and I told you that he was going to sing "Wichita Lineman"?
I promise. No more Glen Campbell spoilers.
Now Jump!

Episode Review: V – Welcome to the War (Season 1, Episode 5)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Wed, 03/31/2010 - 01:55And welcome back... According to our always semi-trusty Comcast episode summary for tonight’s return to the weekly trenches of episodic “V”: Val’s pregnancy concerns Ryan; the REstistance inducts a dangerous new member; Anna is puzzled by Chad, who hasn’t scheduled a follow-up for his diagnosis; and Erica gets attacked at home.
So, to take a cue from the ever trusty Republibot 2.0, let’s dive into this with a bit more depth – right after the jump.

Episode Review: V - Mid-Season Recap episode (so not really a review at all)
Submitted by Republibot 1.0 on Wed, 03/24/2010 - 00:18So, straight on the heels of tonight’s very good episode of Lost (and I say that with full realization that I have no place saying it considering this is the first season I have paid any attention to the series), we had a lackluster Season-to-Date recap of V. A whole hour (well, more like a whole 50 minutes) of lackluster tension building to recap the very little that happened in the previously aired 4 episodes.
So, to help get you up to speed before the show returns full time for the remainder of its short life, make the jump to see our previous coverage of show.
