Green Lantern TAS Season 1.5 episode 6: Loss

Petero's picture

This episode involves loss, though it does not revolve around dealing with Loss. It continues the story arc and even continues the Red Lantern Story Arc from last half season. It is nicely done, though somewhat ineffective due to feeling a bit cheap with the “loss” it deals with.

Green Lantern TAS Season 2 episode 1: The New Guy

Petero's picture

So we’re back to the adventures of Green Lantern. Last season Hal Jordan, Kilowog and the AI Aya of the Green Lantern were lost far from home in another sector of space while battling the Red Lantern Corps. They discovered the Star Sapphires, recruited and teamed with the Blue Lantern Saint Walker, added Red Lantern Razer into their group, and ultimately stopped the Red Lantern invasion. Now that this story arc is done with, we move into season 2 with a new story arc in which some of the ramifications of the last season are explored. So on with the review.

DC UPDATE: I Am Personally Going to Assassinate Geoff Johns

Wil Avitt's picture

Ok, not really. But that was a great headline, right? Right?! Anyway... Yesterday marked the beginning of DC Comics' "Zero Month", in which all of DC's titles would be numbered 0 for the month of September, marking the end of the first year of DC's The New 52 relaunch. I went on record last year saying this wouldn't last a year. I stand corrected, because there are as yet no signs that DC will revert back to the pre-Flashpoint continuity. The tagline for Zero Month is "New Characters Introduced. Secret Origins Told. Mysteries Revieled". It is about one of the new characters introduced that I would like to rant and rave about, and why I spent three hours last night praying that Geoff Johns would be smited with gross boils all over his pretty boy face.

EPISODE REVIEW: Green Lantern - The Animated Series: "Razer's Edge" (Episode 3)

Republibot 3.0's picture

Hello everyone, and happy St. Patrick's Day. A day most commonly known as the one where Ireland was converted to Greek Orthodoxy by a Welsh guy, and who's sainthood was opposed by the Catholic church until about 1700 AD when they decided to simply ignore him instead. Thus: Saint Patrick's day: Not Irish, Catholic by Retcon, and not a Saint. Also, the Irish would have called him "Quadrag" or something similarly ridiculous. Or so I've been told by the people who watched 30 Rock the other night, and are running around the neighborhood dressed in head-to-toe Orange.

DVD MOVIE REVIEW: Justice League: Doom

Wil Avitt's picture

Last year fans of comic books and cartoons based on comic books lost a great storyteller far too early with the untimely death of Dwayne McDuffie. This week, we have been given a gift: Justice League: Doom, Dwayne's last work.
